Since 1983, Dr. Nicholaos C. Bellos has been
in the forefront of managing patients with Infectious Diseases with a special
interest in the management of HIV. In addition to being the only
practice in the area with an infectious disease physician available during
all office hours, he offers outpatient antibiotic therapy and a traveler’s
clinic specializing in Tropical Medicine. Dr. Bellos is a board
member and Fellow of the Infectious Disease Society of America serving
on the Clinical Affairs Committee and a board member of HIV Medical Association.
In
addition, Dr. Bellos is a member of the American Academy of HIV Medicine and
a Fellow in the American College of Physicians. He is board certified
in the infectious diseases and internal medicine and is currently involved
in numerous clinical trials involving HIV medications having been involved
in the development of 90% of the drugs currently approved. Locally, he
serves as President of the Medical Staff of Charlton Methodist Hospital
in Dallas. Known as an expert in the treatment and practice of
Infectious Diseases with a focus on HIV, Dr. Bellos speaks both nationally
and internationally as well as being published in numerous infectious
disease medical journals.
He resides in Dallas with his partner Bill and their
two children, Aryn and Bryce. |
